A tribute to oceanic peninsulas

Cap Ferret, just an hour from Bordeaux, is an iconic peninsula on the French Atlantic coast. Between the Atlantic Ocean and the Arcachon basin, this unique place charms visitors with its golden sand dunes, fragrant pine forests and ten villages where the oyster farming tradition is still alive and well.
It was here, in this unspoilt natural setting, that I spent my childhood summers.
History of the Model

Inspiration from America

On the other side of the Atlantic, I found this maritime atmosphere again at the tip of Montauk, at the end of Long Island near New York, where I lived. Further north, Cape Cod, opposite Boston, offers an unforgettable spectacle: whale watching in their natural habitat, in complete tranquillity.

Three peninsulas, one connection

These three places – Cap Ferret, Montauk and Cape Cod – share a deep connection with the ocean, light and nature. It is this invisible link that inspired the ‘Oceanic Peninsulas’ design: an original creation by Mangrose, printed on organic T-shirts and sweatshirts, designed in Europe with respect for the environment and people.
